The Municipal Government of Orion was cited by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for its highly functional Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC).

The ADAC Performance Award for 2023 was presented by DILG Sec. Benhur Abalos during the awarding ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria on November 22 with no less than Orion Mayor Antonio L. Raymundo Jr. receiving the award.

In accepting the award, Mayor Tonypep said, “This is a celebration and recognition of all the efforts and hard work of DILG-Orion, the PNP, PDEA and other agencies in raising public awareness on anti-illegal drug activities and empowering the communities.”

The ADAC Performance Award recognizes LGUs for their exemplary performance in complementing the national government’s anti-illegal drugs campaign under the “Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan” (BIDA) program.
